Sabbath Jollof with Pastor Jackson Fidelix (July 15)

Every Saturday, there is a word of assurance from an Adventist pastor in Nigeria with the theme SABBATH JOLLOF

Every day we are forced to make decisions. From the moment we open our eyes in the morning our decision making process starts; Should I get out of bed, or hit the snooze button for 10 more minutes of sleep? Do I wear the red shirt or the blue? Have breakfast or skip it? Or course there are more serious decisions that we make as well and with every choice we make, we must keep in mind that for every ‘action’ there is a ‘reaction.’

If we make wrong choices, we will suffer the consequences. Just one decision can alter the course of our lives and that’s why it’s important to ask God to be part of all the decisions we make! With God in charge, we never have to worry about; “Am I doing the right thing?” We can move forward with confidence knowing that God is leading and guiding each step of the way! Talk to Him about the little things and the big things! Whether it is as small as what to eat for dinner, or as critical as changing a career path, God wants us to lean on Him fully and completely!

When you are in the valley of decision and don’t know where to turn, go to Jesus first! He is a great listener and He is truly interested in all you have to say!Take it to the Lord in prayer. In Psalm 16:2 we’re told, “I say to God, ‘Be my Lord!’ Without You, nothing makes sense. *Truly nothing makes sense without God.*Text: Proverbs 16:9, Psalm 25:8, Haggai 1:5, Proverbs 8:10-11
